Your marketing is less about getting a sale and more about connecting with the person you’re hoping will buy the product. The same is true for photographers. Listen as Leslie Amman of Weathered Frame Photography and I chat about her client processes and marketing strategy to better capture the attention of her ideal clients. 

Leslie is a portrait photographer based in Edmonds, Washington. She shoots families, branding sessions, and recently landed her very first wedding, but she’s most inspired by shooting people. No two faces are the same and she loves highlighting her client’s differences and strengths. 

One of her biggest issues with client onboarding and lead capture has been a disconnect in systems. Rather than using multiple lead forms and contact sheets, we honed in that she needs to start using her HoneyBook CRM more effectively.

After we dig into her systems issues, it’s all about the marketing. We chat about her use of hashtags, creating captivating captions, and how she as a photographer should use Reels to boost her visibility.
