We all find ourselves in a season of burnout at some point in time, and I wanted to share some key points with you this week that will help you put up a nice burnout barrier to keep you from getting to that point. We will also chat about some ways to navigate burnout if that ship has sailed and you’re already knee-deep in the burnout experience.
One of the big things that can keep burnout at bay and help you steer your way out of burnout is to enforce boundaries. It is key that you set reasonable expectations with your clients surrounding communications that protect your peace and your time.
Another key to staving off burnout is saying “no” to the work that is not your favorite. If you’re not a fan of certain types of photography – keep a solid referral list, defer those clients to someone who prefers that type of photography, and keep your focus on the things that light you up.
Lastly, lean on systems and support teams. CRMs keep your information organized and help streamline your processes. This will take the exhaustion out of the grueling tasks of emails, invoices, and other things that can easily be automated. Delegating to your support teams helps you offload some of the backend work or the around-the-house work so that you can focus on the things that bring you joy.
Tune in today to hear more about these strategies and how you can implement them in your photography business. These strategies will keep you operating at your best while still delivering the best service possible to your clients, and I know you’re going to love them!
